Hagar Sharvit

Mezzo-Soprano

Hagar Sharvit is an Israeli Mezzo-Soprano, Born in Tel-Aviv. After finishing her studies in the Buchmann-Mehta school of music, she moved to Europe and has been constantly singing there since 2011. 

Hagar participated and won prizes in several singing competitions, she is the recipient of the 1st prize and audience prize in the „Das Lied“ international song competition amongst others.

In this current season, Hagar is to be heard in the opera „der Zwerg“ by Zemlinsky in the Enescu festival in Bucharest; in „Thais“ by Massenet in the Opera de Tours, conducted by Michel Plasson; in the Israeli Opera as the in Mozart‘s „Die Zauberflöte“ directed by Barrie Kosky; Hagar will perform in concerts in the Herkulessaal in Munich with the Bavarian radio symphony orchestra in the piece „Andere Schatten“ by Wolfgang Rihm; in the „Der Zwerg festival“ and „Liederleben festival“ in brahms‘ Liebeslieder Walzer with pianists Helmut Deutsch and Akemi Murakami; in a Bach concert in the Thomaskirche in Leipzig with the Les talens Lyriques orchestra, conducted by Christophe Rousset; and in song recitals in Berlin, Bel air, Essen and more.
